In 2019, the Gallia County Engineer's Office is submitting two applications for the BUILD (Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development) grant. These applications were submitted in 2018 and are being resubmitted for further consideration.
Adds an interchange along US 35 while utilizing an existing overpass bridge and four rest area ramps and
develops a St Rt 7 bypass route along Bob Evans Highway/Farm Road
Replaces 130 miles of stone/dirt county roads with a hard surface
